Alpha M shares his 5 tips to overcome anxiety.   Social anxiety is a fear of embarrassing yourself in social situations and prevents you from doing things.  It limits your happiness and ability to do all you want to.  

Common triggers meeting new people, being called out at work, going on a date, going to a party. 

He distinguishes the difference between generalized anxiety and social anxiety.  He lists all the symptoms of social anxiety.  Do you avoid going to social activities, be a wall flower, or drink prior to going.  

Tip #1:  Challenge your own negative thoughts, don't just accept them as the truth. 

Tip #2: Learn to control your breathing.  Short breaths cause you to feel more anxious. Learn relaxation techniques.

Tip #3:  Face your fear.  Be willing to be uncomfortable

Tip #4: Talk to a therapist or mental health counselor.  Seek professional help for social anxiety treatments.  

Tip #5: Medications for anxiety to take the edge off.
